The eFIXX team review a range of products to save time during first fix electrical installation.
1. DC701 - Cable stapler
DeWalt

Joiners have been firing nails into wood for ages; now it's our turn to join in the fun. This battery powered stapler fires insulated metal staples into joists quicker than Clint Eastwood empties bullets from his revolver.
2. Socket and switch bead
PC Products

Everyone's a winner with this product, especially the end client who ends up with a beautiful smooth plaster finish around sockets and light switches. Along the way, the Socket and Switch bead helps to preserve the plaster - electrician peace process.
3. Rapid sliding wall bracket (RSWB)
Walraven / Britclips

You didn't become an electrician to hone your carpentry skills. Stay away from the scrap woodpile with these flexible wall braces. Fold out the wings, fix between the uprights and screw your back box in place.
5. Marxman
Gripit

How do you mark fixing holes? Blunt pencil or scraping the wall with a thin screwdriver? X literally marks the spot with these little paint spray markers.
5. Square hole cutter
Quadsaw

The bonkers device that quickly cuts square holes in plasterboard. Interchangeable between single and double gang boxes with a handy built-in spirit level.
