EV charging is one of the fastest growing areas within the electrical installation industry, driven by climate obligations and government initiatives to promote the sale of hybrid electric and fully electric cars. Most car charging takes place at home, hence buyers will be looking to install a charge point. Rolec has taken an early lead in this market with a wide range of solutions for domestic and commercial applications. On the first inspection, charge points seem expensive when compared to outdoor sockets with similar IP ratings and RCDs. We decided to investigate whats inside.
