COLLEGE CONNECTIONS - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We aim to arrive around 8 am
2 parking spaces are needed one for the eFIXX Ford transit van and one for our co-host.
Ideally, we would like to talk to all the electrical team at around 8:30 am.
We would absolutely love our time at your college to be shared across all social media platforms, including LinkedIn and can we please ask that you tag us in on all posts.
We are very happy to put on demonstration classes, small groups or individuals as requested.
We will have around 15 display boards for the workshop(s) and or classroom(s) that will need to be fixed to the walls during the day of the visit. This is a very important aspect of the visit and will require some time so we ask that you please make sure a technician is available to complete this task.
It is requested that learners complete the two eFIXX CPDs on the ‘Know How’ page on our website on safe isolation prior to our visit. On completion of these training packages we ask that a copy of these certificates be held by the college as we will use these to pull out the prize winners at random.
Yes anyone completing the safe isolation CPDs can have a copy of their certificate entered in to the prize draw.
On request Gary will always try to accommodate adult learners and he is happy to stay on until 8 pm.
The demand for eFIXX college connections is very high so a second visit is currently very unlikely. However the team at eFIXX want to remain part of the college experience post visit. This can be achieved by tagging us in on your social media posts and video calls via mediums such as Microsoft teams to talk to learners about the rapidly changing electrical industry and the skills required to find an apprenticeship etc.
