CPD - Explanation and Application of RCD Types
How can you make sure you're installing the correct RCD Type and that it will operate when needed? There's been a huge increase in the use of RCDs in recent years, there's also been a huge increase in the complexity of the loads they supply. This has led to some confusion over which RCD Type to use in a given installation.
In this CPD we will look at what an RCD does, how it works, why it may not work when you need it to and how to make sure you're installing the correct RCD Type.
